Ukraine’s Zelensky appoints new chief of staff Maj.-Gen. Anatoly Bargilevich

(Reuters) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday appointed Maj.-Gen. Anatoly Bargilevich has been appointed the new Chief of Staff of Ukraine, replacing Serhiy Sheptala.

Zelensky announced the appointment in an overnight video address, saying it was made on the recommendation of Ukraine’s new commander in chief, Oleksandr Syrsky, appointed on Thursday.
