YouTuber accused of topping 150 mph on Colorado interstate on his motorcycle is wanted on multiple charges

DENVER (AP) — A motorcyclist who authorities say drove from Colorado Springs to the Denver metro area on Interstate 25 has posted a video on YouTube of himself speeding in 20 minutes — a trip that typically takes Takes about an hour – many charges are wanted.

Rendon Ditzman, 32, of Texas, drove at speeds of more than 150 mph (241 kph), weaving through small gaps in traffic, on Sept. 28, according to a Colorado State Patrol news release sent Wednesday. And recorded himself traveling on the shoulder. The video has been removed from YouTube, but the State Patrol shared a clip With news release.

Dietzman, known as Gixxer Brah on YouTube, has posted several similar videos from different parts of the country. He was charged with uttering threats, engaging in a speed contest, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, speeding 40 mph (64 kph) over the limit, engaging in an exhibition of speed and having a license plate attached. Wanted on charges of driving without license.

“It’s an extreme example, but sadly it’s real,” State Patrol Sgt. Troy Kessler said. “If you drive like this, you can expect to be arrested if found out. This is the best outcome for the person driving violently as a small mistake can lead to his or her death or the death of some innocent person in the area.”

The State Patrol coordinated with the Dallas Police Department in Texas and the El Paso County District Attorney’s Office in Colorado to identify the rider as Ditzman, whose hometown was not released.
