State media says China’s President Xi met with US officials, academics in Beijing

BEIJING (Reuters) – Chinese President Xi Jinping met with U.S. officials and academics at Beijing’s Great Hall of the People on Wednesday, following a dinner with U.S. officials in November in San Francisco, state media reported.

Xi took a group photo with the delegation before the meeting, the report said.
