(Reuters) – Russian air defense systems destroyed nine drones launched by Ukraine over Russia’s Belgorod and Voronezh regions as well as the Black Sea, the RIA state news agency said on Wednesday, citing the Russian Defense Ministry. Gave report.
RIA reported that two drones were shot down in the Belgorod region and one drone in the Voronezh region. Both regions in Russia’s south-west border Ukraine. Six drones were destroyed over the Black Sea.
Belgorod region governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on social media that a woman was hospitalized with injuries as a result of the attack.
There was no information from Gladkov or the Russian Defense Ministry about possible damage.

Reuters was not able to independently verify the reports. There was no immediate reaction from Ukraine regarding the attacks.
