BRUSSELS (Reuters) – White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan said on Wednesday the White House is focusing on getting a Ukraine aid package through the U.S. Congress, adding that there is no “Plan B.”

“We are confident that we can and will still provide assistance to Ukraine,” Sullivan told reporters during a joint press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

The latter said it is important that the US Congress agree on continued support for Ukraine in the near future, and that NATO sees “no imminent threat against any NATO ally”.

“We must maintain our support and this is the responsibility of all allies,” Stoltenberg said.
